Today is my daughter’s birthday, so I’m having a sale so that all of you can celebrate with us!!
She’s officially entered adulthood, so this special day couldn’t go by without some sort of celebration. As she turns 18, I’m offering 15% off all my products in both of my stores!! The sale will run 25-27 September (ends at midnight).
In my group, one of our summer themes is prop boxes. Dramatic play is so important in the development of children. My daughter loved all things “grown up” and would play all sorts of these dramatic play things.
One of her favorites was playing vet, which she still intends to be!! I made to exam sheets or record sheets for her. One was made in 2009 and one in 2010. Yes, she was still playing “grown up” just a couple years ago. She had a cash register (real one), so she loved to do anything and everything with it. She loved to ring up her customers!!
Anyway, these are 2 of the sheets that I made for her and I want to share them with you to use for your little ones. Each one has a choice of type of animal, reason for visit, and pet’s name. After that they differ and can be used for different functions. I hope that your kids get as much enjoyment as my daughter did!!

at our little homeschool, religious education, and here at The Schoolhouse!!
Since there’s no class this week, I don’t have a new page for the Bible ABC’s to post and I’m just going to take a break to enjoy some quality family time. I’ll return next week and hopefully have some great new ideas that I can turn into printables to share!!
It’s time for a Christmas freebie printable!! This is the first year that my family has done the Elf on the Shelf and we’re having a great time with it. Even though my daughter is a teen, she’s playing along and looks for him every morning. How many of you have an Elf on the Shelf at home or in the classroom??
Well, I decided to create a couple printables for this cute little character. This is just one of what I’m hoping will be at least a couple more. This one was a complete thought and I was able to finish it up between the hectic holiday schedule!!
For this game, the directions say that the elves have lost their space on the shelves. In order for them to get their spot back, they must be placed in alphabetical order by filling in the blanks between the elves already sitting on the shelf. So the elves fit on the shelves better, I’d recommend cutting them out instead of the whole boxes. For little hands, cutting the whole box might be more convenient.
Here’s a thumbnail view of what this game looks like….
If you use any of this freebie, please leave a comment and let me know or share pictures of your kids in action with it. I’d also appreciate it if you took the time to click the button below to vote for my blog….thanks!!
